Estepona
The town of Estepona, with its 68.000 inhabitants, was previously an old fishing village, with its roots going back all the way to the 16th century. Estepona has more than 20 kilometres of coast line and has recently had a major face lift, with restored facades and friendly, pedestrian streets. Estepona is one of the towns of the Costa del Sol that has been able to keep much of its typical Spanish charm and character. The Málaga airport is 40-50 minutes away by car.
San Pedro
San Pedro de Alcántara is the most western part of Marbella municipality, situated between Puerto Banús and Estepona. Perhaps not as well-known as some of the other areas of Marbella, this is a real jewel of the Costa del Sol, which has kept much of its genuine Spanish style. Here you will find typical white-washed houses and narrow, straight streets. Along the seafront of San Pedro, you will find lots of cosy beach restaurants. San Pedro is situated 10 km from Marbella Town and you can walk along the seafront promenade the whole way.
